So very sorry to hear such sad news. I remember both the children in Montessori at Five Canyons’ School. Such a beautiful family.
May peace be bestowed on you all.

Dear Sangani family, my condolences on your loss. I had the privilege of working with Piyush at Comerica the past few years in Credit. Piyush was always truly interested in what was happening not only in the business but on a personal level. I really got to look forward to meetings with him because I knew it would be a learning opportunity, and it would also be a good conversation. He had a brilliant intellect while also being a strong leader and calm voice. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Regards, Jeff Bradley

Dear Abby,
We stand with you, also brokenhearted to learn of the untimely loss of dear Piyush. He was such a wonderful and committed father to Kavya and Naveen, and great caring husband to you. We truly cherish the visit you all made to spend time with us last summer as Uncle has been unable to travel much in recent years.
We will plan to visit you in the next months as we hope uncle will get stronger. We send much love to you all and also to Dolly and family, Ajay and family, and Piyush’s family. We grieve with you and will see you soon.
With love and prayers,
Nandi uncle and Susan aunty

It was a normal Monday morning, and I logged into my computer. I started working and saw an email from corporate news with the subject line: Piyush Sangani. I thought he had received a promotion! I opened the email and started to read. As I read, I started to scream and cry. I called my husband and asked him to read the email to ensure I read it correctly. He confirmed my worst fears.
I met Piyush 15 years ago. He was my mentor and more importantly a great friend to me. Both he and Abby came to the hospital to see my twins when they were born. We would always catch up on what was happening in each other's lives when we could. We always shared stories about our twins. This year was already a very difficult year for me because I lost my father. Now I have also lost one of my best friends and a trusted mentor. Abby, my heart breaks for you and the kids. I am so sorry for your loss. Girish, the kids, and I send you our very best wishes and prayers during what must seem like your worst nightmare. It certainly is for me . . .

I met Piyush over 21 years ago. I feel very fortunate to have worked with such an intelligent, caring, calm, yet passionate person. I will miss our long conversations that covered several topics with business as well as personal. I also feel fortunate to have had lunch with him just a few days before his passing. My deepest condolences to his family. He had an extraordinary impact on those that he worked with and leaves a remarkable legacy with Comerica. I am proud to call him a friend and a colleague. I will miss him…we will all miss him.

My deepest condolences to Piyush's family. Piyush was such a kind soul, who made everyone feel welcome. We joined Comerica around the same time and I have many memories of chatting with him and sharing stories. He was always thoughtful, humorous, generous in heart and spirit, and truly wanted everyone to succeed. He loved talking about his family and sharing photos of his children. The world has lost a guiding light. He will be missed.

We met Piyush through a mutual friend and Piyush and his family lived in our community. I quickly became friends with Abby and often my daughters would babysit Piyush and Abby’s kids. We did couples dinners with them as well with our mutual friends. Piyush was by far one of the nicest guys we had ever met. Always so welcoming and so friendly. We were at their house 2 days prior to his passing and he was as usual, the friendliest person ever. Just so shocked and saddened. He will truly be greatly missed. My condolences to Abby and kids and the rest of the families.

I met Piyush when he first interviewed for a position at Comerica. I was asked by the Department Head to interview him as a possible candidate to be my Boss, funny enough. I immediately found him to be a very genuine, nice, kind person that was easy to get along with and I highly recommended him for the position which he got and I was very happy to work for him. He was very bright, resourceful, ambitious, understanding, hardworking, and fun to be around with. He even joined me road biking after work in Palo Alto and asked my help when he was deciding on whether to purchase this green Bianchi road bike. I was happy to invite him for my wedding and he knows my wife and kids too. I have since left the banking industry but would msg him occasionally and we were supposed to meet up for coffee after the pandemic was over but never got around to doing it which I so regret now. The world lost a really good kind soul. My sincere condolences to Abby, his kids and their family.

I've known Piyush for ~15-years and can share that he has been a significant influence in my life. Piyush was a kind, engaging, and formidable force that demanded integrity. He helped me become a better person. The world needs more men like Piyush. I will deeply miss our conversations. I wish I had told him, "Thank you for helping me earn my way forward".

My deepest condolences.
Piyush was my first mentor at work. He hired me at Comerica. A great individual and friend, always willing to take out time to help me and everyone around, and guide each of us to reach our full potential.
You will be missed Piyush.
