Background
When Ping was living in Berkeley as a graduate student, he loved the collection at the Kensington Library. The librarians would always gather books he was interested in and hold them for him—particularly an academic journal called Daedalus. As a lifelong lover of books, we know he would be honored by these contributions.
The family also appreciates flowers sent to Green Hills Memorial Chapel ahead of the service, August 16th, under Ping’s name. The address for Green Hills is 27501 South Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes, California 90275.
