On May 6th 2022 Phyllis Ann Masiello Nee Mitchell, passed away peacefully with her children at her bedside; she was 96 years old. Phyllis was born in Keene New Hampshire and relocated with her husband Rico to Fresno CA in 1954. She moved to Folsom CA in 2017 after the death of her second husband Frank, so she could be near her family.

Phyllis was a strong woman full of wisdom, kindness, talent and witty charm. She was an accomplished portrait artist, homemaker and cook. Family would gather from miles around to partake in her famous spaghetti and meatballs. She loved a challenge and taught herself how to use a computer in her mid- eighties so that she could keep up with family on Facebook and follow world events. Her greatest love was her family and those that knew her couldn’t help but love her.

She is survived by her three children, Linda Whiteside, Jo Ann Jones, Paula Masiello, her four grandchildren, Rick Ortenzio, Jodi Keer, Michael Jones, Kristina Jones deJong, her great grandchildren, Hayden Keer, Kaden and Evan Jones, Addison and Peyton deJong, Kyle Ortenzio and great-great granddaughter Brooke Ortenzio. A private memorial service will be held, the date yet to be determined.
