Phyllis Lohr (nee Zawisa), aged 86, of Buffalo, NY, passed away on October 10, 2025, in Austin, TX. Born July 3, 1939, Phyllis was known and loved for her great humor, generosity, and forthright nature.

Phyllis leaves behind a loving family, including her daughters, Jill Lohr Chase and Amy Lohr Urquia (husband Henry); three cherished grandchildren, William, Nicholas, and Mina, to whom she was lovingly known as Grammy; and her brother, Robert. She was preceded in death by her husband, George; her son, George; her sister, Joan Ottwell: her brother, Ronald; and her parents, Stephen and Helen (Kasinski).

A funeral Mass will be held for Phyllis at 10 am on November 10, 2025, at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Orchard Park, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, a cause close to her heart.
