Phyllis Joy Jones, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on Sunday, September 10th, 2023, in Orlando, Florida at the age of 69. She was born on June 26, 1954, in Brooklyn, New York to Leon and Joyce Jones.

Phyllis was a remarkable soul who faced life's challenges with unwavering resilience and a good-natured spirit. Despite any difficulties she encountered, she never lost her infectious joy for life. Her ability to find happiness in the simplest of moments was inspiring and left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Phyllis dedicated many years of her life to public service, working diligently at the New York City Marshals Office in New York City.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Jacob, siblings, Charlene, Leon, Sarah, John, James, and Jason and in-laws, Darren, Angela, Salma and Mallory. Her presence will be deeply missed by her numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, whose lives she touched with her kindness and wisdom. Phyllis also leaves behind countless friends who shared in her laughter, joy, and enduring friendship.
