Jean's obituary

Phyllis Jean Johnson (“Jean”, “Sissy-Poo”, “Mom”, “M”, “Gram”, “Abba”) officially graduated from her 89 years on this earth of being the most amazing daughter, sister, friend, wife, mother, grandmother and much more! She peacefully transitioned to her next role on her journey on October 16, 2023 at 8:30pm.

She will be forever loved, missed, and remembered for her kindness, friendship, sense of humor, selflessness, generosity, and unwavering love and support for the people who were lucky enough to know her. Her legacy will live on through her daughters Susan and Julie, and her grandchildren Emma, Sarah, Max, and Gianna. Her Brother, John Uhler, retired Judge,  and his wife Susan, and daughters Kristen and Gretchen and their families, will all also keep her spirit and light shining brightly on into the future.

We will gather to honor her amazing life with an open house at her home on Saturday, afternoon, October 21, 2023 and will follow with a homecoming celebration in her hometown of York, PA at future date.
