Phyllis's obituary
Phyllis was a loving, caring person who helped anyone she could and she was always there when you needed her the most. She was a stay at home mom and she would also babysit to earn an income. After awhile she decided to step away from babysitting so she could focus her attention on taking care of her husband and his health problems that he was facing.
One thing Phyllis cherished the most was her grandchildren even though they may have not been her blood her world still revolved around them. She had 7 grandson's Joseph, Aaron, Benjamin, DeMarcus, Jamari, Erik and Troy. She had 5 granddaughter's Brianna, Erica, Gabriella, Janiyah and Serenity. On December 1, 2021 she became a great grandmother to Waylan Dukerson(Joseph's son).
Phyllis is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, two daughter-in-law's Robin and Lisa, and one son-in-law Donnell. She is also survived by 4 sister's Mary, Linda, Amy and Brenda(stepsister) and 4 brother's William Jr., Richard, Matthew, Kenneth and David(stepbrother).
She is predeceased by her mother, father, grandmother Mary E. Cullum, grandfather Earl W. Cullum, nephew John, and two brother's Morris and Danny(stepbrother).
Our mother Phyllis was loved by so many and played an important role in our lives. Saying goodbye was one of the hardest things we had to do but it becomes easier knowing she is in a better place and she will no longer be suffering in pain. She will remain in our hearts forever and she will truly be missed.
