Phyllis Ann "Sunshine" Duty 08/18/1958 ~ 08/08/2022 On the evening of August 8th 2022 ,Phyllis passed away at Menifee Global Medical Center fighting an infection which turned septic Phyllis was 63 years old. Phyllis Ann "Sunshine" Duty was born in Sacramento California on August 18th 1958, To Jimmy Lee Duty and Shirley Louise McKenna (Halkyard) . Phyllis spent most of younger years in southern california, in her youth Phyllis was a professional dancer where she met her husband of 43 years Johnny. Phyllis was an Artist ,Caregiver, wife a mother a grandmother, she was a sister, an auntie and a best friend. Phyllis enjoyed fishing anywhere with as many poles as she could get her hands on "Even if you already baited the hook" . Phyllis also enjoyed baking ,gardening and spoiling her grandkids rotten.Phyllis was a collector of many things even people if you needed someone you had her. Phyllis was best known for her giving nature her strength and compassion. Phyllis is preceded in death by her father Jimmy duty, her mother Shirley mckenna, Mike Mckenna (stepfather) her brothers Ricky, Jimmy Dale and Robert Duty. Phyllis is survived by her husband Johnny Vigil her children Anthony (Esther) Holloway, John and (Brittney) Vigil, Marie (Brian) Parrish.Her sibling Randy Duty and her four half siblings As well as her two grandsons Phyllis's love and light will be greatly missed.
