I am Jean's next door neighbor and I did not know her mother but wish I did; what a wonderful women she was. She led a very interesting life from the get go of being born in England and coming to this country at just 6 months old. It was wonderful to read about her beautiful family and all she accomplished in 96 years. This is truly a celebration of life for Philomena. Even though she lived 96 years and there is such a bright side to her story...I know that doesn't make it any easier for her family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time; especially Jean. Sending warm wishes to all her family that her void be filled with the best memories of good times spent with Mom, Sister, and Grandmother.
