Phillip Miller, 73, of Tyler, TX passed away peacefully on March 03, 2023, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Phillip grew up in Tyler, Texas a town they loved and never left. He worked for the school board of Tyler for 21 years and enjoyed sitting on his porch drinking coffee, or reading his favorite section of the newspaper during the day. Phillip will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Phillip was predeceased by Joe, Mary & Genine Miller. He is survived by his wife Janet Miller, his daughter Lavon and Shemika Miller, and two granddaughters Teshawna Brown and Shonacie Brown. Phillip requested a celebration of life be held in his honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Phillip’s loved one to join us in celebrating their beautiful life at Golden Gate Chutch Tyler Texas on 3/11/2023 at 2:00 PM.
