On September 4, 2020, Phillip “Little Ahda” Philemonoff, Jr., passed from this life at 45 years old.
Phillip was born in Anchorage, Alaska. He studied Diesel Mechanics at Denver Automotive and Diesel, where he received his associates degree. He went on to become a diesel mechanic where he thoroughly enjoyed servicing engines and generators while documenting his travels to some of the most remote places across the state.
Phillip will be forever remembered for how much he cherished his time spent with his wife, family, friends and furbabies. His love of birthdays, holidays, and barbeques will never be matched. Every present, every candle wished upon, every tree decorated, and every meal prepped, was met with the same genuine excitement, gratitude, and little shimmy of anticipation. Phillip’s presence at these events were truly a gift in itself, and his smile and laughter will echo in our hearts and minds for eternity.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Miranda Lopez-Philemonoff, his mother Ann Philemonoff, mother-in-law Rita Lopez, sister Lynelle (Robert) Gould, brother-in-law Leo (Sheila) Roehl Jr., sisters-in-law Melinda (Jeffrey) Philemonoff, Serena (Chris) Martino, Stephanie (Cody Wise) Lopez, his beloved nephews and nieces; Ali, Lynda, Leo III, Michelle, and Jayden Roehl, Janelle, Janine, Marinna and Melayna Philemonoff, Christopher V. Martino, Lelianna and River Lopez-Wise, his nephew and Godson, Robert Gould III, along with many of his dear uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family and friends.
Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Phillip “Ahda” Phillemonoff, Sr., father-in-law, Willard Albert Lopez, and nephew J.P. Philemonoff.
A visitation and services for Phillip will be held at St. Innocent Orthodox Church on Thursday, September 10, beginning at 9:00 AM. Following the services, Phillip will be laid to rest, next to his father, at Angelus Memorial Park.
As his Godson Robert would say, we are “going to miss you ever. We love You ever.”
