Phillip's obituary
October 2, 1929 - August 20, 2019
Phil was our very own icon, to know him was to love him. He was a Whataburger junkie, Green Bay Packer die hard. He loved watching football, for the game, the company and the food. He loved a good Super Bowl Party. Phil's booming voice was easy to recognize, he never met a stranger. He was a big papa bear with a soft, kind heart. Phil was never a passive participant in life or a passive driver. He always had lots to say about everyone else's driving. He had a talent for saying what he thought and not mincing words, political correctness may have been a foreign concept.
Phil's proudest accomplishment may have been his work as a federal agent for Naval Intelligence. He loved telling us stories about air force one. He was also a Korean War Veteran, and for his service we are eternally grateful. In his early years he served as a police officer. Phil was a man of service, a proud American.
Above all Phil loved his family. No one more than his Donna. We can only imagine the joy they both must have felt at their heavenly reunion. Phil was a loving dad to his children, Scott and Stephanie and to his six grandchildren, Chris, Sarah, Lacey, Camden, Gregory, Kaylee.
Phil loved life, he loved his family, his friends and his Lord.
"Amazing grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me"
