With a sadness beyond words, we share that our brother, Philip Hallisey, has passed away. Phil was living in Nashville, Tennessee, and was suddenly stricken while out for a morning walk on Sunday, April 5.

Phil was truly his own man—someone who lived life on his own terms. He was a devoted brother, a loyal friend, and a proud uncle and great-uncle. His love for life, especially his passion for motorcycles, filled much of his time and brought him great joy. A talented mechanic and body man, with a well earned nickname of "Junkman", Phil shared his skills not for a living, but for the simple love of it. As he often said, “If you’re not having fun, it’s called work.”

We are working to bring Phil home to Massachusetts so we can properly celebrate his life surrounded by those who loved him at a time to be determined.

Phillip is predeceased by his father Richard Hallisey , his mother Anne Hallisey and brother Micheal Hallisey .

Phillip leaves behind an older brother Richard Hallisey , brother Paul Hallisey and younger brother Steven Hallisey . He also leaves behind a niece Ashley Hallisey-Moore and one great nephew and two great nieces .
