Phil spent more than four decades in government service and continued volunteering well into retirement. As a lifelong Bay Area resident who invested deeply in Walnut Creek and nearby communities, honoring him with a local donation keeps the impact close to home, where he lived, served, and built relationships. Phil was never flashy; his kindness showed up consistently—in birthday cards, coaching, volunteering, and showing up. A food bank donation mirrors that steady, behind-the-scenes generosity that improves lives every day.
