Allison, I am so sorry to see this about your dad. I just saw this tonight. I had no idea. I will tell Jessica and Jay, they will be sorry to hear this, also.

I saw your wedding photo along with this. You are a lovely bride in the photo with your father. We enjoyed our time with you and are sorry for the loss of your dad, who loved you and spoiling you.  ( I remember the year you got the boots with your friend.)

Jessica, Jay, and I are always your friends no matter how long it has been or far away we may be.

Much love to you and sorrow over your loss.

Sheri

Prayers for peace for your family. I knew Phil from high school choir, and I remember he had a beautiful voice and was so talented. I am deeply moved to read about the depth of his faith on his Facebook page. What a heritage you have from him. God bless you.
Allison, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. I grew up with him in Genoa, and my parents grew up with his dad and Billy. We all went to FBC of Genoa. He and I used to sing together. We will sing together again in heaven.

No te imaginas como nos preocúpate y Byron llamó a tu amada hija.. te fuiste sin un adiós, pero dejaste en mi una huella imborrable de unico buen vecino... te llevaré siempre en mi memoria.. Phil will forever be in my heart. He was a good Father and it shows in his children. I admired how protective he was with Allison. He was always expecting the best from her while still teaching her to be humble and kind to others. His work ethics were impeccable and if we needed him, he would be there. He was more than my daughter in-laws Father, he was a good neighbor and friend to my husband and me. When Justin and Allison married he forbade me to call him Mr. Wicker, I was to call him Phil! Gonna miss that silly smile, but I know you are having a blast and we will all see you soon enough! Try not to fool those angels too much up there, they may not get your unique sense of humor 😉. Rest in peace my friend!

Anna Fay, I worked with you at Genoa (I was there 1976-1984).  I am so sorry for your loss, may you find comfort and love .  Pat (Gunnells) Newton
My heart felt love and prayers for the family during this difficult time. God bless you all.
Philip was my dear friend and we shared many, many great times together. Most of them revolved early on around music and choir. Later in life music kept us connected together with serving in our respective churches. We first tenors always stuck together and I know he is belting it out in the great heavenly chorus. My deepest condolences to all of the family.
