Philip W. Russell

passed at age 69 in Denton County, Texas after a battle with cancer on August 22nd, 2022. He is survived by his wife Charlene Russell, daughter, Kelly (Paul) Nelson, grandson Nathan Nelson, siblings, Fred (Marilyn) Russell, Woodrow Thomas (Cindy) Russell, Grace (Bob) Brink, nieces and nephews, Nichole(Robert) Todd, Eric Russell, Tom (Katherine) Russell, Margo (Brian) Baumgardner, Carly (Joe) Coz, Jill (Steve) Yeaton, Lee (Emily) Russell. Also he leaves behind a large loving family great nieces and nephews and including generations of cousins.

Phil was a kind, gruff, and adventurous spirit. He lived in a few different places, born in Kentucky, lived in Ohio, Texas, back to Kentucky and finally once again in Texas with wife Charlene to be closer to their daughter, son-in-law and grandson. He loved fiercely, enjoyed working outdoors, and spending time with family. He asked that there be no funeral and to have a party instead. We will come together to celebrate the life of Phil Russell and remember the fun, the laughs, jokes, and adventures we each had with him and will always remember. He will be greatly missed by all.
