Philip's obituary

Philip Juopperi, a loving father, caring friend, and skilled computer technician, was born on February 26, 1969, in Kenosha, WI, USA. He passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 54.

Philip had a wide array of hobbies that reflected his multifaceted personality. He enjoyed tinkering with electronics, often taking apart gadgets and putting them back together to improve on their initial design. His insatiable sweet tooth led him to savor various confections, some of his favorites being the ones made by his family. Philip's creativity was evident in his video-making endeavors, where he crafted memorable and artistic narratives for his family and friends to enjoy. Philip was an ardent fan of science fiction movies, often losing himself in fantastical stories that fueled his curious mind. His love for science was not just limited to fiction, as he dedicated time to learn about the wonders of the natural world. Philip also found solace in studying the Bible, seeking guidance, and inspiration for life's many challenges.

Philip will be remembered for his unique and unforgettable personality – forgiving, goofy, caring, witty, and smart. His ability to connect with others through his humor, empathy, and wisdom made him a cherished presence in the lives of those who knew him. His love for his family was immeasurable, as he was a devoted father to his daughters Lexie, Jacklynn, Ryanna, and son, Logan. He is also survived by his other family members: his sister Lyn, sister-in-law Sandy, many nieces, nephews, and step parents.  His best friend Brad will also remember Phil for their times creating their short movies, listening to music, and cooking. We will all remember him for the incredible person he was, keeping his spirit alive through our own acts of kindness, humor, and love.

His former partner and the mother of his children, Julie Juopperi/Snow held a special place in Phil's heart. Phil and Julie were best friends for 32 years, experiencing both major life milestones and daily life together, from college graduation and the births of their children to daily phone calls and inside jokes. Julie coined the goofy nickname "Phillis" and always had different variations to add, always laughing and making light of everything. Even after getting remarried, Julie and Phil remained best friends. Julie, and her husband Dave had a close relationship with Phil and were great friends, sharing family vacations, holidays, and day-to-day memories together as a family. Phil would stop over at the house regularly and the family would have bonfires, make malts, watch movies, and laugh. The family will miss these times but will hold these memories close to their hearts until they reunite again.

In closing, Philip Juopperi’s warm heart will be dearly missed, but his impact and the moments shared will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace, knowing that he left the world a better place through his Christian ways, boundless curiosity, and most of all, the enduring love he had for his children.
