Philip C. Craigle ( Filthy Phil ) 57
Passed away on June 30,2019 at his residence.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Robert L. and Carole (Maggio) Craigle. He was proceeded in death by a brother Robert jr., paternal grandparents Carl and Pauline (Brown) Maggio. Maternal grandparents Russell Sr. and Gertrude (Clewell) Craigle. Also several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Surviving is his lifelong sweetheart & Wife of 29 yrs. Joanne (Sydlo) Craigle , Harrisburg Pa. Daughter Jillian Lukatchik and Granddaughter Vivien, Forte Wayne, Indiana. Sisters Sherry Maggio and Nancy (Craigle) Parsons. Niece Amber Keck, Nephew Tyler Parsons and great nephew Jaden Akey. All from Hazleton. Aunt Marie Moser, Hazleton. Aunt Joyce Kwitkowski, Leighton. Aunts and Uncles, Richard and Melanie Maggio , Hazle Township. Gerald and Joanne (Craigle) Magula, Hazleton. Sister in law Geraldine Sydlo, West Hazleton. Sister in law Terri (Sydlo) Safko, Brother in law Steve (Brian) Safko, Harrisburg. Brother in law Thomas Sydlo, Florida. And several cousins.
Phil held many positions & titles in his career, with his latest as a technician at Iron Hawg Custom Cycles in Hazleton. Growing up Phil always looked up to his cousin/brother Herman jr. Craigle from Levitown Pa. He loved being close to what we use to call the Levitown boys, Herman jr., Michael, Curtis and the late Douglas Craigle.
Phil and Joanne went on to relocate to Levitown,PA and started working as a manager at Herman jr. Business , Metal Masters in Bensalem, Pa.
Phil was very proud of his accomplishments in his life. He was involved with many motorcycle clubs and he loved spending time at the Iron Horse Saloon with his family and friends. Also enjoyed going to Bike Week in Fl. & car shows in Carlisle PA.
Phil loved to collect almost anything with wheels!
Help us celebrate his life on Saturday July 27, 2019 @ 11:00 am at LCBC church in Hazleton, Airport Beltway. Afterwards a gathering at Eureana Park inside Pavillion in Weatherly, Pa. Everyone is welcome. Monetary gifts can be made to LCBC Church. Anyone wishing to donate food or drink for the gathering please Pm Michele (Craigle) Mellor
