Petra Ruth Hollenback went home to Jesus on September 10, 2021 at age 50. Petra was born to Cornelio and Consuelo Galvez on March 25, 1971 in Plainview, TX, where her father built and Pastored a church. As a child, she spent sunny days building forts, playing hide and seek, playing with paper dolls and singing. Petra grew up and married Alfredo Sanchez in 1986. They had two children, Alfredo Jr  and Ashley Summer. They later divorced and she went on to marry George Hollenback. Together, they had another son, Kyle Austin. She was a grandmother (Oma) to five grandchildren.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Petra also loved singing at her church, painting, doing crafts with her grandchildren, traveling and shopping. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. Petra was one of twelve siblings, Elizabeth Galvez, Sylvia Chapa, Eloy Galvez, Esther Galvez, Cynthia Cardoza, Gloria Jasso, Cornelio Jr. Galvez, Eunice Galvez, Elias Galvez, Mosies Galvez, and Israel Galvez. Petra joins her parents, Cornelio and Consuelo in Heaven. She is survived by her husband, George Hollenback, her son, Freddy "Bo" Sanchez, her daughter Ashley Ramos, her son, Kyle Hollenback, her grandson, Benjamin Ramos, her granddaughter, Saphira Sanchez, her grandson Atticus Ramos, her granddaughter Gracie Gonzalez, her granddaughter Avaleigh Gonzalez, her daughter-in law Sarah Sanchez, her son-in-law Brian Ramos, and her dog Roxie.
