Peter Joseph Zunino Sr.,age 83,a lifelong resident of Shirley passed away Friday in Long Island Medical Center. Beloved Father of Melody,Mary,Peter Jr.,and Claudio. Loving Grandfather of Jared,Ronald,Mackey,Angelica,Danielle,Angelina,and Peter III. Cherished Great-Grandfather of Kayden,and Ethan. Peter was preceded by his wife Josephine his parents Giusepee,and Angelic,his brother Jack,His Aunt Mary(Zia),his Uncle Claudio(Zio),and his Aunt Yolanda. Survived by his Sister-in-law Julianne,niece Arlene,and nephew Jack Zunino Jr. all of East Patchouge,Sister Arora Bono of Florida,His daughters Melody,and Mary both of Shirley.His sons Peter Jr.,and Claudio both of Mastic Beach,Grandchildren,and Great-Grandchildren.

Peter was a retired custodian of the William Floyd School District. He graduated from Brooklyn Teck High School in 1953.

Visitation held Monday & Tuesday at Roma Funeral Home. Mass Wednesday at Saint John R.C Church. Interment Mount Pleasent Cemetery,After-Service-Gathering will be held at Mama Lisa’s Resturant.
