Peter Walton Jones, 77, passed away in his home in Catonsville, MD. on October25, 2023. Born Aug17, 1946, Wilmington, DE. to the late Linwood M.(Casey) Jones, and Louise B. Jones, Pete was a Staunton Military Academy (1961-1965) Alumni. He studied Geology at Eastfield College, Mesquite, TX., attained SSgt USMC 1965-1971, was a former brakeman at CSX transportation, and was a Golf, Guitar, Games, Gals, Guns, Chess, Jokes, anything Railroad enthusiast. He is survived by children, Emily Jones Rataski, Suzana Jones, Scott Jones VonWachter, 14 grandchildren, sisters Annlynn Ayres, and Nancy Glantz. He will rest at Baltimore National Cemetery in Catonsville on Nov20, 2023.
