Background
The Friends for Life Guild of Seattle Children's Hospital raises funds to support early stage childhood cancer research programs. Research doctors can only receive larger grants once some initial premises are proven. It is these initial smaller investments which can often be the challenging gate to cross to justify larger grants. Friends for Life enables funding of these smaller upfront grants at Seattle Children's Hospital to support program entry and further funding.
