Peggy's obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Peggy Murphy, born on June 4, 1944, who left us peacefully on May 24, 2025. Known for her warm, kind, and caring personality, she always tried to treat others well. She has left a lasting legacy of selflessness and compassion, always doing anything she could for others.

Peggy is survived by her two daughters, Sherri Lam and Kris Murphy. Her life will continue to be celebrated through her granddaughters, Megan, Katrina, Kimberly, and Ava Lam, and Briana Murphy-Hudspeth, and Sara West. She also leaves behind three sisters - Kay White, Mary Chaffee, and Nancy Motola, and a brother, John Neil. Peggy was predeceased by her daughter, Lisa West.  Peggy also leaves behind 3 great-grandsons who brought her so much joy in her final months.

She will be lovingly remembered at a memorial service on June 21, 2025, at 10:30 AM at the Antioch Georgetown Church. Peggy's spirit will continue to live on, not only through her family but through the countless lives she touched with her unconditional kindness.

In these moments of loss and sadness, let us remember Peggy as she was - a beacon of love, care, and generosity. Her family and friends were her world, and she never hesitated to give them all the very best of her. Peggy Murphy will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
