Just heard this saddening news. I loved Peggy very much. We worked together years ago. Her and Tom were both dear friends. ❤️

I have struggled with what to say about Peggy. There are so many beautiful things to say but how can I conceivably communicate what a wonderful person Peggy was? How can I explain the kindness in her heart, the contagiousness of her joy, or the depth of her love? It's just that she was so remarkable. How can I sum up her beautiful life? Then I realized I couldn't, but I must try.  Peggy was not only beautiful on the outside, she was a beautiful soul. She saw the beauty in others. I know she found something to love in every one of us. When she married my brother, she brought both sass and class to our family. Words cannot describe how much I miss her.

So sorry to hear about Peggy. We were best friends in school. Spent half my life at her house. Her Mom and Dad were a second set of parents for me. Was in Diane’s and Peggy’s weddings and she was in mine. I’m standing to her left in the bridesmaids picture. Did not see each other so often after starting our families. Have not seen Adam and Kara since they were babies. Lost touch when she remarried and moved. Will always remember her beautiful smile and ability to make life fun! I will never forget her. God placed her on my heart a while ago. Now I know why. Praying for God’s peace and comfort for you Diane and all of the family.

Peggy and I shared many fun and proud moments and our son Adam and daughter Kara. She had a gift for creating good times and supporting those she loved. We had a large pool party at our home on what turned out to be a very cold day. Peggy was undaunted and had a few of us put on our coats and run to the pool , removing our coats just before we jumped in. On Adam's first Birthday we had a large party. Due to an ice storm the party turned into a 18 person sleepover. Peggy made sure everyone was comfortable and had a good time. She supported Adam and Kara. She rang a cowbell and yelled at Adam's football games. She yelled the loudest when Kara graduated from University of Tennessee Memphis ( she probably had that cowbell in her purse ) ! Rest in Peace.

Kara introduced me to her mom, back when she and Dan had started dating. The three of us spent the morning at the Golden Gate Park Arboretum looking at orchids and making small talk. I’m not sure how it happened that we were alone for a few minutes, talking in the car. My husband had terminal cancer, and Peggy had lost her husband some months before. I can’t recall the exact words, but I remember the warmth and kindness in her voice. “Anytime honey, you want to talk, just let me know.” We were strangers with something to share. Peggy was a survivor of a deep loss and committed to embracing life. She wanted me to know it was possible. I thanked her as we parted. Peggy, I say “thank you” again for that moment. On a visit to Tom and Peggy's home in Clearwater, Peggy and I were in my mother's room tending to her ( which was difficult for me to see her in her deteriorating condition). I stood at the foot of my mother's bed and looked towards the kitchen where I saw my brother feeding himself through a feeding tube ( another sight that was hard for me to witness). Peggy was trying to hurry Kara off to school and getting resistance, Petie the bird was repeating Peggy (Kara, Kara, off to school), then in came Heather and Daniel (my first time to meet Daniel) and there were sounds on the back porch of the new finches that Peggy was raising. Peggy handled all this chaos and noise with joy in her heart and a calm resolve which came from an inner strength only God could have provided. I will never forget that day and what she taught me. "The joy of the Lord is my strength." I saw it in your life, thank you, Peggy.

I am so very sorry to hear about the sad passing of Peggy. She was a lovely lady. I had the pleasure of speaking to her again when she was working in my Ortho's ofc (Dr Cooper in Clearwater). My thoughts, prayers and sympathy go out to the family at this sad time. God received a beautiful Angel the day he called Peggy home to heaven. Hugs to Daniel, Heather Kim & daughters.
