Peggy Smith, Age 67, Passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025 in Salem, OR.

Born on January 28,1958 in Portland, OR to Clyde and Dorothy LaFollette, Peggy was a woman defined by love and a beautiful spirit. She lived a full life, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Peggy was a cherished mother, and a proud grandmother. She dedicated her life to her family, offering a loving embrace and filling their home with joy. In addition to her family life, she had a passion for arts and crafts, gardening, cooking, baking, and herbalism which brought her immense happiness.

She is survived by her loving daughters Sirika Hennessy and Michelle Reil, her son in laws Mike Hennessy and Gregory Reil, grandchildren: Aidan, Theo, Bella and Richie, mother Dorothy LaFollette, siblings: Debbie Largent, Curt LaFollette, Perry LaFollette and Scott LaFollette. She was proceeded in death by her father Clyde LaFollette and brother Mickey LaFollette.

A memorial service will be held on Friday 8/29/25 at 1pm at the River Church in Salem Oregon (4675 Portland Rd NE STE 190, Salem OR 97305). Her legacy of love and her beautiful spirit will continue to inspire us all.
