Pauline's obituary

Pauline Morganella, a loving and spirited mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully in her bed on April 15, 2023, just nine days shy of her 89th birthday. Born on April 24, 1934, to the late Annette and Cy Tanguay. She is also predeceased by her beloved husband, Silvio Morganella, whom she married in 1992, her daughter Diana Kennedy, her sister, Rachel Tanguay, her grandaughter, Melissa Cousins, grandson, Gregory Broom, and her ex-husband, Gordon Kennedy, whom she shared five children with. Pauline was a vibrant and loving woman and will be remembered for her sassy, stubborn, and sweet personality. Her memory lives on in the hearts of her family, whom she loved so dearly, and she will be terribly missed.

She was survived by her daughter, Linda White and her husband, Tighe, of Hayesville, NC., her son, Brian Kennedy and his wife, Judy, of North Berwick, ME., her son, Paul Kennedy and his wife, Carol, of Berwick, ME., her daughter, Debra Cousins and her husband, Lloyd, of Gonic, NH., and her 7 bonus children from her marriage to Sal, son, Joseph Morganella of Dover, NH, daughter, Ronette Ryder and her husband, Ron, of Hampton, NH., son, Jay Morganella and his partner, Teresa, of Somersworth, NH., daughter, Jeri Norton and her husband, Tom, of Mint Hill, NC., daughter, Toni Joubert and her husband, Bob, of Somersworth, NH., daughter, Andrea Veno and her husband, Brian, of Rochester, NH., son, Russell Morganella of Sebring, FL., and her bonus "daughter" Pamela LeBlanc of Dover, NH. She was also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Anyone who knew Pauline knew how much she loved Elvis. He was always her absolute favorite. She also loved Garfield, and birds, especially her beloved parrot, Tommy, whom she had for almost 30 years! In her leisure time, Pauline enjoyed coloring, reading tabloid magazines, and watching soap operas; All My Children was always her favorite one. She also enjoyed watching the NE Patriots, mostly just to see Tom Brady. The last few years of her life were spent at Riverside Rest Home, where she loved to have visits from her family and friends. Everyone that worked there loved her and took care of her right up until the end.

Pauline was always a fighter, showing incredible resilience until her last moments. Her spirit and love will live on in the memories of all who knew her. Pauline will always be loved and remembered by her family and friends, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A Celebration of Life for Pauline will be held on June 11, 2023, at 1:00 PM in Somersworth at The American Legion. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and honor her memory.
