Pauline's obituary
Pauline Margaret Kostoulakos (nee Angelo) passed away at the age of 101 at her home in Bordentown, NJ.
Born in Newark, NJ, on November 28, 1922, she was the sixth of eleven children. She was married to her late husband Paul for 62 years. They resided in Newark before retiring to Toms River. Eventually, Pauline moved to Bordentown to live with her daughter and son-in- law.
Pauline was employed at Tung-Sol during WWII and then at Hahne’s Department Store where she retired after 23 years of dedicated service. After her retirement, she spent many years volunteering for the Second Time Around Consignment Shop which benefited Community Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, chocolate, laughing and complaining about her cold tea. But her greatest joy was her family, especially her grand and great-grandchildren, whom she spoiled every chance she got. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by many.
The daughter of the late Sabatino and Carmella Angelo, she is predeceased by her beloved husband, Paul Kostoulakos. She is survived by her sister, Carmella Albanese, daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Mike Vitale, her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Anne Kostoulakos, grandchildren, Michael and husband Marlon, Christine and husband Kevin, Paul and wife Veronica, Karen and partner Brian, and her great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nicholas,Jack, Phoebe and Dennis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11a.m. Thursday April 4, 2024, at Mary Mother of the Church located at 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Calling hours will be held Thursday morning 8:30 ~ 10:30 am at the Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown NJ 08505. Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery, 1621 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union NJ. 08783
