There's so many wonderful memories of my cousin Janet, I remember her always saying" You're so precious", she always had a loving heart, her and Auntie Jedo was like twins since they were so close in age you would think they really were sisters. Both of them including Auntie Wilma would take care of me when they were in town when I was living with Grandma Julia in Waipahu. Whenever they would come by to the house they was so much laughter. I don't remember what year it was but both of them came to Hawaii and stayed here for a short time, when I came home for work dinner was cooked, they said I would be to tired and we could talk stories longer...so to me my Cousin Janet was also" Precious" to me. I love all of my family near and far, if we haven't met yet and you're family I love you too..that's why she always said You're so Precious because we are family. She may be gone but always in our hearts..
She was on of the sweetest lady that I have ever known. Anytime you went to her house she always offered you something to eat or drink. Her kind and gentle ways will never be forgotten. RIP Mrs. Ruiz

I go way back with this family. I spent a lot of time at their house in Hayward. I loved them so much that I asked them to be my First borns Godparents 🙏💖🙏 May you Rest in Paradise 💖
Janet’s smile said it all. A very welcoming person. I know she leaves a lasting legacy for her entire family. Our hearts go out to you Mike and Theresa, and the entire Ruiz family. She is beyond tears and pain. That is at least one blessing, despite the loss. I love that she was born 🌺 Hawaiian!!! How could you not be just wonderful, if you came from Hawaii!! The people are so warm. Praying for each of you, whom she has left behind, in the coming days, that the good Lord will give you hope and His peace and that you will know how so very much He loves you. Love, Claire and Don Doud
Auntie Janet and Uncle Alec, we give you our deepest love and prayers for the family. Her legacy is rich and won't be forgotten. Love, Robert Friedman and family

Mom and grandma Aggie ran the Marine barracks burger joint on Pearl Harbor. We would go with mom and hang out there when mom had her shift. We would be friends with the marines and got to go to the movies with them too. Many years later I got a chance to work a job at the base where grandpa Alex, and great grandpa Johnny worked. I stayed with Clara and Solomon who were stationed at Hickman AFB. Small world but across the fence was the Marine barracks and the burger joint where they worked was still there. Loved that memory!
