Proctor Family, So very sorry to hear about your mother. It is so hard to process. I send my prayers and love...

Here is my favorite prayer. I hope it gives all of you some comfort.

Support us, O Lord, all the day long until the shadows lengthen and the evening comes, the busy world is hushed, the fever of life is over, and our work is done. Then, in your mercy, grant us a safe lodging, a holy rest, and peace at the last. Amen.

May God continue to bless you, now and always.

Vin & Sam

We are so blessed to have Holy Mother Church at the hour of our death and the death of those whom we love. Father David Franco, F.S.S.P. from St. Joseph's Catholic parish in Richmond offered a stunningly beautiful Requiem Mass for the repose of my dear Mother Paula's soul today. The great shame is that so few were allowed to attend.
Oh! The loss of my Mother! No words can suffice the agony of separation. To even try seems to cheapen the depths of love she had for us and we for her.
I will leave off with the words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Whose thoughts in His final agony on the cross turned to His Mother:
"For thou art he that hast drawn me out of the womb: my hope from the breasts of my mother. [11] I was cast upon thee from the womb. From my mother's womb thou art my God, [12] Depart not from me. For tribulation is very near: for there is none to help me."
Psalm 21,10-12 (DRV)
i don't have a lot of recollection about my Aunt Paula as she moved away when i was very young however when i was 10 i remember that she had me sit on her lap at my Uncle's wake and a couple short years back i had to be TDY in Richmond for work so i went to her house and she let me in, loved on me, and made me dinner - me, someone she hadn't seen in decades but it was just like she knew all about me. She came here to the hometown when her Mother died and came to visit my Mom and Dad and they picked up just where they had left off decades ago. Later i asked my mother "how do you do it?" (meaning pick up where you left off decades ago) and my Mom said "Its easy cause when you're family you're always familiar". Rest in Peace Aunt Paula.
Momma I love you so much!! your grace love and strength will live on forever you will always be with me. I love you my sweet sweet momma
