Paula was a mentor to me. I have countless wonderful memories of time spent at her house-meals, pool time, coffee& conversation.. wonderful memories worshiping together (beautiful voice!) She helped me be a mom when mine was so far away. There is a piece of advice she gave that really shaped how I mothered. My daughter (about 3 or 4 yr old) always wanted me to run her face so she could go to sleep. I had her brother 13 months older (fighting illness) & was pregnant! I thought I deserved a break! Paula reached over and laid her hand on mine and said, “You have a face to rub, rub her face. This time won’t last long. Enjoy it. “ So I did. And tried to employ that philosophy to the best of my ability through all 5 of my (now grown) children.
You will be missed! And I look forward to catching up in heaven!

Paula was my friend since 9th grade, maid of honor in my wedding, confidant, pillar of strength and love personified. Her joy, laugh!!!, and mostly her love of God is an example for all. My sympathy to her family and all that held her dear.

I am so sorry. It is such a shame. I remember Paula had so much energy and such a contagious laugh she will be missed. Always such a great sense of humor. Can’t help but smile when you think about her.
