Paula's obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Paula "P-Rae" Kelly, a loving and dedicated mother and friend to all whose lives she touched, on June 21, 2025. Born on May 3, 1963, Paula was a shining light in the lives of many and will be fondly remembered by those who knew her.
Also known as P-Rae, though she preferred Paula, she was best described as having a personality brighter than the brightest diamond. She was witty, bubbly, loving, caring, charismatic, family-oriented, goal-driven, intelligent, inspiring, beautiful, and a beacon of hope for those around her.
Paula taught others that we should live for the moments that genuinely make the world a better place. Through her love and actions, she showed unconditional care for everyone, extending compassion even to those who may have done her wrong. Her lessons of loving kindness will continue to resonate with those who knew her.
Her accomplishments were many, and included being a devoted mother and grandmother. Academically, Paula held several degrees, with a Master’s in Human Resources and Management as her most recent achievement. She was a true world traveler, combining her love for exploration with her hunger for knowledge.
Paula’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and living in the moment. She taught those around her to love others the way they wanted to be loved, to laugh at themselves, and to enjoy the little things in life. She stressed the significance of cherishing time over material possessions, a lesson that we will carry forward in her memory.
Paula is survived by her daughter and grandson, Felicia and Tevita Kelly, her sister, Stacey Tucker, and her brother, Michael Tucker (Stephanie). The depth of Paula “P-Rae” Kelly's absence will be felt by many, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
In lieu of flowers, funds are being raised to help ease the unexpected finances arising from Paula's sudden passing. Contributions can be made at https://everloved.com/life-of….
