I spent many of my high school years at the Millet based McEldowney home. I graduated from Waverly with Lorrie and Brad in 74 and hung out with Lisa alot too! A home away from home! Paula was like my big sister! Kind, loving, beautiful and so much fun. I am saddened to hear of her loss. I extend my love and prayers to each you! Peace to your hearts! God Bless!
Helped Paula prepare food for a wedding reception. She and I thought the wedding cake was too gaudy looking, so we removed some of the flowers from the top. We couldn’t stop laughing. She was fun to be with.
Though I was only her cousin we were as close as Best Friends with that special connection. We understood each other like few could. Paula was the most interesting person I'll ever know. One of a kind.
One of my favorite stories about Aunt Paula was when she would make a day of spending time with me by taking me to my favorite restaurant "The Travelers Club & Tuba museum" It was here that I discovered my love of learning about and eating cuisine from around the world inspiring me to go into a career in Culinary Arts. We would hang out for hours talking about everything from art to music while eating our way through the unique menu items offered at the restaurant. Thank you for your inspiration. I will miss you in our future and have missed you all these years since I left for the Navy in '89. finally moving to AZ, not being able to come home as often as I would've liked. I have often told the kids I work with the stories of my crazy, thoughtful and inspiring Auntie. Thank you for the stories. I love you!
Aunt Paula was one of a kind! Every thing she did was over the top & special! Holidays & special occasions was her specialty. She loved us so much & always treated us like family! I will miss her deeply. I take comfort is knowing she & my mother are together watching over us like they always did! Lost but new forgotten. Hugs & prayers to those who love her. The world will never be the same ðŸ˜ðŸ’” #griefjourney
