Paul's obituary
As a young adult, Paul found great pride in working alongside his grandfather Aureliano (Papi's) at Rainbow Graphics, a shop owned by his grandfather. There he learned the process of color separation, knowledge which he used throughout his life when creating art. He was employed with El Paso Parks and Recreation for 20 years, as a back-flow specialist and irrigation specialist. He worked many city events, such as The Thanksgiving Parade, Christmas Parade, and Light show Downtown. He took pride in helping set up La Jacintos Christmas tree during the holiday season.
Paul was known for his sense of humor, making all those around him laugh, through impressions, drum solos, air guitar, or jokes. He had a love for Harley Davidson Motorcycles, Metallica, and Sunday Oldies. His passion for drawing has left us many cherished memories for many years to come. His love for Sunday cookouts will be greatly missed. He was also known to show compassion for the less fortunate, whether giving the shirt off his back or his last dollar to the homeless or helping the elderly cross the street.
A devoted father, husband, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He has left a void in our hearts and will be missed eternally.
Due to Paul's unexpected passing during this Covid-19 pandemic, a small graveside service has taken place at Restlawn Cemetery. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
