Paul will be cherished forever by his devoted family. He is survived by his sons Stephen Taylor, Jeffrey Taylor, and Scott Taylor and his daughter Ginger Ricks. As well as his sister Olga “Cookie” White, step daughter Christy McCabe and his 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to his days. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Susan Taylor with whom he spent 40 beautiful years; his parents, Paul Taylor Sr. and Olga Benard Taylor; his sister Marlene Taylor; and his brother Ronald Taylor.

A man of extraordinary kindness and warmth, Paul touched countless lives with his selfless spirit. He devoted himself to helping strangers in need, often without seeking recognition—a true reflection of his compassionate heart. He found deep delight in life’s simplest treasures: browsing thrift stores for hidden gems, basking in the serene beauty of beaches, and marveling at glorious sunsets. The Bible was his constant companion, a source of strength and guidance that he read and revered throughout his life.

Paul imparted timeless lessons of hard work, perseverance, and integrity, inspiring all who knew him. His greatest achievements lay not in accolades, but in the boundless love he gave his family, his generous soul, and his humble acts of kindness toward the less fortunate.

As a proud Vietnam veteran who served with honor as a Private First Class, Paul was awarded the Purple Heart for his bravery in the face of adversity. His courage, resilience, and commitment to duty remain an everlasting testament to his character.

In the last 13 years of his life, Paul was blessed with the loving companionship of his partner, Vanessa Ross, whose presence brought him comfort and happiness. Though his warm smile and gentle presence will be deeply missed, Paul’s legacy of love, faith, and quiet heroism will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him—guiding and inspiring generations to come.

Paul Taylor Jr. was a remarkable man whose heart overflowed with kindness and grace. He leaves behind an indelible imprint of love that will comfort us always.
