Paul Shickle went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 3.  He was 76 years old.  

Paul died peacefully at home due to a heart attack.  He was born and raised in Newburgh, NY and has a brother, Donald, and sister Sue.  His children are Gavin & Paul Jr. and his nieces and nephews include Heather, Don Jr., Laurie and Brian.  Paul served in the Marines and later became a salesman for  Sosmetal, an auto parts company.  

He began his Christian life as a member of Valleybrook Community Church.  He then served as missionary to Ukraine, for over 20 years, where he mentored college students from all over the world.  He would return to Maryland every two years and stayed with his sister's family in Waldorf, MD.  For the past several years, he remained there due to his heart condition and stage 5 kidney failure.  

Paul loved singing, mentoring and discipling.  He will be remembered as a loving family member, good friend and servant of Jesus.
