Paul left us too early and quite unexpectedly at age 59 on June 17, 2025.  He spent his last moments in the beauty of the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado, near Aspen and Snowmass.   How perfect for someone who understood the outdoors and loved being in the beauty of the Colorado mountains.  

Paul was preceded in death by his biological father, John Schreiner and his step father, Gerry Porter.  He is survived by his mother, Barbara Porter,  his brother, Dave Schreiner (Carol) as well as step sisters, Tina Aisner Porter, Tracy Porter, Toni Torrison and Terri Porter.   He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Jim and Avis Steenerson, cousins Bryan Steenerson (Alina) and Darin Steenerson (Katrina) and nieces and nephews, Brandon Schreiner, Elijah Herson, Morgan Leyda(Zach), Holly Herson, and Zoe Herson.

Paul was born July 3, 1965 in Concord, Massachusetts, and in his early years lived in Massachusetts, upstate New York, various locations in Iowa and New Jersey.  He moved to Colorado in 1979 where he has lived since.  Paul graduated from Evergreen High School and from Western State University in Gunnison, Colorado.
