Paul's obituary
Paul grew up in the suburbs of Buffalo, where he enjoyed many adventures with a close group of friends. He was a Bachelor's Degree graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, and following college, he married the love of his life Kathleen Mary Whissel, his loving wife of 55 years. After marriage, their lives would take Paul and Kathy on a journey across many changes of location in following Paul's career, eventually landing them in Western MA, which they have been blessed to call home for over 40 years. In the later years of his life, Paul became both a Mason and Shriner, following in the footsteps of his father and brother.
He is predeceased by his parents, Helen and Frank, his brother Jim and his sister in law Lois, and many close friends and relatives.
He is survived and will be dearly missed by his devoted wife Kathy, their two sons; Mike and his wife Dawn, Jon and his wife Michelle, by Grandsons Riley and Kohl, and Granddaughter Maren, the recent light of his life.
Paul was a great appreciator of Jazz music, the works of comedy legend Mel Brooks, and his favorite sports team, the Buffalo Bills. He will be mourned and missed by the countless people who's lives he crossed paths with over his many years of travel and experience.
A memorial service will be held at Colonial Forestiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St. Agawam MA on Saturday, August 19th, from 2-4PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shriners Hospital in Springfield MA will be gratefully accepted.
