Paul was the dad I wished I had, he was very kind and was always asking if we were hungry or if there was a videogame we wanted to play. Some of my favorite memories are Paul calling us to the living room to watch live performances of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin or Prince. As a young kid I didn't know these musicians but it sparked a little obsession with Prince for me lol. Paul will be missed. He was truly a unique and kind person.
Paul was one of the kinder Dads growing up, whenever I spent the evening with Vicki he was always sure to feed us Pizza or take us to get burgers then we'd watch movies or help us set up the whole living room for games. The very first time I spend the night we played a street fighting game and he was so excited to see us toss each other around in the game. I ended up some how getting my character onto the ropes and did a dive bomb onto another friends character which If I remember correctly ended the match. Everyone laughed because I won by pure luck.

Growing up, I’m proud to say my dad was considered one of the “cool dads”. Whenever my friends would come over to our house, he’d make sure we were fed with plenty of pizza and soda and that we never ran out of video games to play. We would be the only house on the block with all the latest and greatest tech and newest video games.

He also loved sharing his love of music whenever he could with all of us. Showing us his favorite songs at the time (such as Jimi Hendrix live concerts) or favorite clips from a movie (any scene from Purple Rain). My dad was very selfless and he always looked out for the ones he cared about.

We miss you more than anything Dad. Thank you for the wonderful life you gave us.

I met Paul in 1980. He was enrolled at the U of M and working as a professional ballroom teacher / dancer at Fred Astaire dance studio. He taught me how to dance to Latin music. We were weekend warriors,  we went dancing with our Parents,  Relatives and friends just about every Saturday night. We had 2 beautiful children together Tom and Victoria. I am grateful that his children were there with Him on the day he passed. We were able to say goodbye and how much we loved him. God speed and God bless as you enter into Heaven to reunite with your loved ones!
