Paul's obituary
Paul Richard Miller, Jr. passed away Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024, in Hurst, Texas, at the age of 82.
Paul was a kind and generous husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. His wife, Laura, was the light of his life. Paul loved riding his motorcycle across the country and prided himself on riding through every state in the contiguous U.S., Canada and Mexico. He was born in Hershey, PA, on Aug. 17, 1942, and served in the U.S. Navy before moving to Texas with Laura and his three children in 1975. Paul worked for Kawasaki Motorcycles, W. T. Grant and held various sales manager positions for telecommunication companies in the 1990s before retiring.
Paul loved his wife and children dearly. He was a self-taught history buff and enjoyed running in his younger years, even running a marathon in his 50s.
Paul loved to walk in the Colleyville Nature Center near his home and spend time with his family. In lieu of a funeral, his family will take a walk in his honor on Sunday, Oct. 6, at 3 pm in the Colleyville Nature Center.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Dominish Clark and Paul Richard Miller, Sr., and his brother, Barry Miller. He is survived by his wife, Laura; sisters, Jean Collins and Kathy Stevens and sister-in-law, Carol; children, Pam Totten and husband, Jim; Rich Miller and wife, Bibi; and Paige Shuman and husband, Niall; grandchildren, Ashley and husband, Keith; Jamison, JulieAnne and Chloe; and great granddaughters, Dylan and Sage.
