What causes did Paul care about most?

My dear friend (I called him PDQ) 
He would say “I know exactly where I’m going” when we talked about our health as “geezers”. (Paul was seldom without an opinion on anything, especially how to prepare and market quality theater popcorn). 
I first met Paul when I was guiding a college class around the (then closed) Fox theater and I needed some technical details about 1931 Spokane entertainment. Wow, was he a treasure about it all; he loved the big picture along with detail of the city of his youth. 
He knew detail about “the Spokane of yester year” the carrousel, the theaters and how they transitioned from silent to sound, how air conditioning amazed the Fox patrons, ….the excitement of the time in our beautiful river city. 
And Paul would return after his military experience (where he ran and organized a film library), and provide sound for various events along with an optional voice that so many will never forget. 
As a recordist, Paul provided professional audio and visual recording, editing which provided could provide capturing of important events, beautifully captured on neatly labeled or tape DVD. And where do you imagine the down town Christmas music ambient came from? Yes, Paul’s speakers, amplifier, and tape recorder, could be found on a downtown office building. 
Paul’s talented “kids” loved and appreciated their dad’s talents. With Paul’s voice, can one imagine that authoritative voice from on high saying “it’s time for bed and brushing your teeth …now! … no excuses!
Oh, Paul, we miss you. However, we know where we will find you. Our Lord; Jesus Christ has documented our path,
