Paul Padilla passed away on December 21, 2020 at the age of 67 in Corona, CA. He leaves behind a lifelong legacy of caring deeply for those who are lonely, sick or forgotten in his community. Paul attended The Lord’s Church in Bellflower, CA for over 50 years, where he met his wife, Patti, and raised their only daughter, Chrissy. He loved Jesus, his family, classic cars, sending long emails to his old Fluor coworkers and church friends, and singing/howling with his puppies.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Patti, daughter and son-in-law, Chrissy and Cody Birkey, and spunky grandchildren, Vera and Diego.

In ways known only to the many many people he quietly aided over the years, there will be a huge hole in this community without him.

A Celebration of Paul's epic life will be held at 2:30 pm, on Sunday, January 31, at the Lord's Church LA on 9740 Flower Street, Bellflower, CA 90706. Due to the current COVID outbreak in LA County, we will be live streaming the entire service to provide a safe virtual option for people who would otherwise attend in person. We know he is loved by many, but Paul would want his friends and family to be safe and smart. If you prefer to attend in person, please plan on wearing a mask and social distancing the entire service out of respect and care for others.
