Paul Michael Mondor, 57, of Montville, CT,  passed away unexpectedly on February 24, 2023.

He was born in Putnam, Connecicut on February 26, 1965 to Maurice and Claire Mondor. After graduating high school at the American school for the deaf,  Paul accepted a job as a skilled maintainer at the University of Connecticut where he worked for 37 years. 

Paul is survived by his mother, Claire Mondor, son, Michael Mondor and Daughter, Krista Mondor and grandson, Kaiden Gross.  His children went on to pursue careers as a heavy equipment operater and an medical assistant .

Paul was a strong, kind, and loving father and grandfather. Paul was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hiking and  liked to go bowling. He had a love for baseball, football and his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.  Paul was very involved with activities in the deaf community. He enjoyed participating in Timberfest  He will always be remembered for his humor and kindness. 

No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned. The family will notify loved ones and friends in the future when a service is scheduled.
