My deepest condolences. I knew Paul from Pfizer. He was an amazing co-worker and is missed by all who he worked with. I am so sorry for your loss.

Happy heavenly birthday Paul. The Syftestad family appreciated the time spent with Paul and the McCormacs fireside at Beachwalk. There were many laughs and songs sung between both houses. Such a fun evening.

Courtney, Joseph, Megan, and Extended McCormac/Sullivan Families. I am deeply saddened and truly heartbroken over the sudden passing of Paul and extend to you my deepest condolences. While I only worked with Paul at Lexeo for only 2.5 years, I can truly say he was the most intelligent and supporting executive in the company, with a true passion for advancing therapeutic manufacturing to new levels. Paul commanded respect and attention in any room he entered, with a strong and clear presentation of what to do and how to help others achieve their goals. In some few examples sharing my personal experience him, as I will miss his friendship and mentorship as a junior program director. Paul was always the first to call me in support of taking positions that were against common belief or group - being a true leader to do what was right, even if it was unpopular. Beyond professional - we shared as with many of his direct reports, a fun jovial relationship with bright humor. Paul and I often talked of our immigrant heritage, he being of course Irish and myself Italian (which led to many fun exchanges) - I would joyfully remind him St. Patrick was Italian with fun exchanges back and forth of our common passion and and respect for keeping traditions. He would always make me smile and laugh attempting Italian phrases and we would talk about his family in Ireland as I have family in Italy. This was special to me - we would also do fun side track musings of different conversations about how NJ living was better than NYC and more so fun how Scotch Plains was better than Westfield - this type of humor made our challenging work environment pleasant, and to a degree fun. We would have deep conversations on science in the common area, and talk about friends family and what our kids were doing, of which I got to know Paul as a strong family figure and leader in his community as well. He was truly an inspiration for me and many others. I had the privilege on the day of our IPO to walk one on one with him from our downtown location up to Times Square - it was truly memorable as my smaller 5,8 frame was trying to keep pace with his commanding 6,8 steps. Paul and I talked many topics that day including family, how to make the best Thanksgiving Turkey and sides, and we shifted to other deep technical conversations on work and gene therapy - this was Paul he could go from Chief to getting to know you in a switch. Despite his very senior position he had high respect and would call to pick my brain on the latest in heart research, he was a true innovator and always inspired to learn. I am deeply saddened as we used to muse on doing some day trips in NJ together near SP . I pray the family finds peace and comfort knowing he was loved and inspired many, and we will do the best to carry on what he set out to do.

I was so sorry to hear about Paul's passing. I worked with him at LEXEO for two years. He was such a life-loving and passionate person. He loved science and working to push healthcare forward, but he also talked about his family all the time and all the activities his kids were doing, even what it was like to go through the travails of getting a new puppy. My deepest condolences to Paul's family.
