Paul's obituary

Paul M. Jovia Jr., 82, from Palm Harbor, Florida and formerly from Connecticut where he was a life long resident, passed away on September 2, 2024 after a long illness. He was born in Bridgeport, CT on November 30, 1941 to the late Paul and Antoinette Jovia. As a teenager, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1959-1963 where he was stationed in Japan, Guantanamo Bay, and the Philippines. In his latter years, he was a retired truck driver for the Pace Motor Lines. He is survived by two daughters, Jill Atwood (FL), and Dina Chairs (NC), a son, Michael Piscitelli (FL), and one sister, Rose Seno (CT). He is also survived by 6 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 1 great grandson and 2 great granddaughters. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Marie Hmurcik, a brother, Alexander Jovia, a daughter, Linda Ricca, and a granddaughter, Shylynn. He was an uncle to several nieces and nephews, some of which have sadly passed away before him.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 9AM at Kingdom Life Christian Church (school) located at 597 Naugatuck Ave, Milford, CT 06460.

Friends and family are invited to attend.
