Our deepest condolences to Shana, Vanessa, Andrea and Sophia, on the loss of your Dad/Papa.

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May you find comfort in the cherished memories you hold close to your heart.

May Uncle Paul's soul rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to Shana, Vanessa and the whole family. Paul Uncle opened his heart and home to so many of us in Doha. From epic open house Christmas parties to smaller intimate gatherings, his spirit of generosity was unmatched. He was the master of small kindnesses that leave an enormous imprint, like always having a present for my sister and me under the Christmas tree from "Santa Clock." He was a joyous presence in my childhood and an inspiration to us all on how to live your life to the fullest. He will always be in my memories.

Paul our time together was too short. I will greatly miss our cups of tea together, our discussions about tennis and cricket and our deeper reflections on the world. You will be sadly missed my friend. Peter

From day 1 in Qatar- Thank you uncle Paul for opening your home for me! Thank you for those great memories - Christmas, birthdays etc. Thank you for introducing me to your family, tennis members and friends. How can I forget - Thank you for the fabulous food and drinks ;) - A home away from home it certainly was!  We shall meet again in heaven for a great chat. Sam (Philadelphia/Sri-Lanka).

The news of Paul Joseph’s passing came as a real shock to me.

Not long ago, Sabrina had her own “homecoming call,” and now to hear this news so soon after feels far too sudden to take in.

When I think of Paul, the first thing that comes to mind is that unforgettable smile.

When I joined Qatar Petroleum, he didn’t wait for introductions—his smile reached me long before his handshake did. That smile never seemed to take a holiday, and it’s stayed in my memory right up to the last time I saw him, before he moved to Canada. It was the smile of a man who was truly content, and he had a way of passing on that contentment to others without even trying.

Yes, I feel sad he is no longer with us here. But I also feel comfort in knowing he’s gone to a home where joy never runs out. And if Heaven needed an ambassador of warmth and welcome, they couldn’t have chosen better.

God bless you, Paul, and may God hold your family close in comfort

Deepest condolences to you Shana and Vanessa. The bond between our two families goes back to the times we lived in Mount Lavinia, Sri Lanka. Fond memories of our friend and brother in Christ, Paul🙏

Our friendship goes back to 1981.  It started  with us and both the families became one.  Me and paul , we had several dreams and loved western movies, Clint eastwood etc. Over countless hours we used to watch the movies and even though  I am an awful tennis player he used to be my doubles partner when played with other friends. He used to ask my wife as GEETHA when are going to come and make DOSA for me. I not only lost a close friend my family last  dear friend and  a loving uncle to my daughters. May his soul rest in peace.
