PJ's obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Paul "PJ" Smith, who left us on November 27, 2024. Born on August 20, 1946, PJ was a beloved father, a devoted husband, and a friend to many.

Known for his warm and welcoming personality, PJ had an infectious love for life that will be deeply missed. Despite the pain of this loss, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving children, Alexis Smith and Gregory Smith. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Patrice Smith, whose memory he held dear until the end.

PJ had a voracious love for all foods, excluding onions and guacamole. His number one choice for a cool drink was always an ice-cold Diet Pepsi, and he had a keen ear for music, favoring such talents as Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, and The Beach Boys.

He had a knack for cards, with Solitaire being his game of choice. Those who loved him will remember his love for tinkering in the garage and his enjoyment of relaxing in the tranquility of a pool. PJ also had a special place in his heart for Christina's Mexican Cantina, one of his favorite local spots.

We remember PJ as a man full of love and life, always ready to share a laugh and lend a helping hand. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the joy and warmth he brought to our lives. He will be greatly missed, but his positive influence and loving spirit will forever remain within us.
