Paul's obituary

Paul Randall Johnson 54, of South Rygate VT, passed away on December 15,2019.

Paul was born in Boston, MA to Kenneth A. and Sheila D. (Hall) Johnson on April 10, 1965. Formerly from Manchester by Sea, he leaves behind many friends and family.

He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Sheila Johnson and two brothers, Kenneth and Keith Johnson.

Paul leaves behind 8 children. Paul Johnson and fiance Cassandra Thomas of Lynn, MA. Ashley Silva and husband Nicholas Silva of Manchester NH, Krystal Colon of wolfsborough NH, Chelsea Hopper of Manchester NH, Kassie Johnson of South Rygate, Thomas & Joshua Walls of Sandown ME and Vivian Kinney Welaka, FL.

Paul also leaves behind 10 grandchildren Ashtonn, Kayson, Yanixa, Taya-Lynne, Preston, Desmond, Charlotte, Hunter, KaLeigh and Maddox, all of whom were close to Paul's heart even if they weren't close in distance.

Paul was one of 7 siblings and leaves behind two sisters, Sheila Johnson of Massachusetts and Susan Young of California; and two brothers, Richard and William Johnson both of Massachusetts; and many other close family members and dear friends. Paul was the uncle to many nieces and nephews as well. While life had it's ups and downs for Paul he always had the hope that his family near and far would know how important to him they were whether or not he was always there to say it.

Upon moving to the local area in 1993, Paul worked as a cook at the former Barge Inn Restaurant in Woodsville as well as working for Sabre Security and as a driver for Executive Councilor Ray Burton.

Paul was a volunteer for the Barnet (VT) Fire Department.

Paul was a jack of all trades. He was most notably known for his abilities in the kitchen. If there was an event where he could show off his skills he would take the opportunity.
Paul could light up a room with a song or a dance or a quick story of whatever happenings him and his siblings got into in their younger years.

Paul was not perfect but he was Uncle Paul, and Brother paul, Dad and friend. While each person got their own version to their own degree the reality for all is that this world will be a little darker without him.

We love you and will miss you RIP.
