Paul's obituary
On Friday September 5, 2025, Paul Hyndman, 76, of Spokane, WA passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Paul was born in La Porte Indiana on February 5, 1949. He attended college at Purdue University where he earned a BA in Geology. He married Holly in April of 1976. He worked in the U.S. Bureau of Mines until it was shuttered in 1996. He worked for the U.S. Geological Survey until he retired from government work. He then worked at his oldest son’s company until retirement. After retiring he spent his time helping others and spending time with family.
Paul was a kind and generous person, known for his compassion. He loved helping others and spending time with his family. Paul was an active member of his church community for many years.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents James and Bonnie Hyndman. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Holly, their children Mark, Jeremy, Laura, and Seth, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brothers Norman and Kelly, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Paul, you are now at peace but you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held Saturday October 11th, 2025, from 12-2pm at the family home, please contact daughter Laura Roy if you need the address. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Mission Aviation Fellowship in Paul Hyndman’s name.
