Chuck had a rabbit house and rabbit that lived in the back corner of the family’s back yard. Quite a deluxe, fenced in enclosure! I loved lying on the peak of the rabbit house, watching the bunny sniff and romp below me. Chuck and my brothers played in the big yard. Happy sounds. This is a cherished memory of life with Cousin Chuckie
I met Chuck in elementary school, can't remember the specific date. We were in the the same class in 5th and 6th grade. Chuck was always a nice kid. I remember him telling me his first name is Paul!
My cousin, Chuck, was the most easy-going kid ever. Whether I teased him or I was just downright mean to him he never returned my nastiness. Never! He was probably the gentlest one in our family. And as I understand it (from his friends and co-workers) that was his character until his last day. I always looked forward to being with Chuck at holiday celebrations over the last 50 years. He was cheery and loved to have fun. There was so much laughing and giggling with him. And that snort of a laugh was infectious. Chuck's resiliency, strength, and bravery spoke to his indomitable loving spirit through years of cancer and [one of the first] bone marrow transplants. I can't tell you how much I will miss Cousin Chuck. Well.... maybe I can. I'll write more as it comes to me.
I am so saddened that dear friend Chuck died. Chuck was a person who took the trouble to make many connections and some of us are just now discovering he is no longer with us. I knew him since childhood. His mother and mine were very good friends. As a teenager I worked with him in the kitchen at Overlake Hospital and he was a great confident. Many lives later we reconnected and although we lived across the country I treasured every interaction with him. The most wise, authentic, caring and truly funny person I have ever known. I will hold him in my heart as an inspiration for a life well lived.
I was so sorry to hear about Chuck's passing. We attended the same elementary, junior high, and high school. We both graduated the same year (1968) from Bellevue High School. Looking at my Ashwood Elementary class photos, Chuck and I were in the same 5th and 6th grade class! I remember him as one of the genuinely nice kids in school, his smile, and most of all his kindness. My condolences to his family. Sincerely, Linda Higgins

I was sorry to read of Chuck’s passing. We shared time at Western. His roommate Mark was my boyfriend. He was such a happy person. There is a star shining in the heavens with his name on it.
Love and hugs to you Chuck, I’ll always remember
