Paul Harjung Sr., 67, of Frankfort, IL, passed away on December 08, 2023 at home surrounded by family.

Paul Sr. was born on November 11th, 1956 and graciously adopted by Elizabeth (Betty) Harjung and Michael Harjung in Chicago, IL. Paul spent the entirety of his career as a Sterile Supply Technician for Palos Hospital as well as Advocate Christ Medical Center.

In 1980, Paul Sr. met the love of his life, Karen Cortilet, married as Karen Harjung. They wed in 1983, going on to have 5 wonderful children, Jamie, Paul Jr., Kelly, Steven, and Amy. After retiring in 2022, Paul Sr. spent his time enjoying his family at the casino, watching The Game Show Network, and finding excuses to speak to anyone and everyone. Paul was predeceased by parents Elizabeth (Betty) and Michael Harjung, brother Michael Harjung and daughter Jamie Harjung. He is survived by his loving wife Karen Harjung, and dedicated children, Paul Jr., Kelly Alday, Steven and Amy and son-in-law, Evaristo Alday.
